Lately, I have felt like someone has kicked me in the ribs so this morning I googled rib cage pain and the word osteoporosis kept showing up. I admit that I don’t drink enough milk and exercise is NOT one of my many hobbies so I am looking to find more calcium to put into my diet. I’m sure that many of my vegetables that I am growing in the cold frames will have lots of calcium but they aren’t quite ready to eat. So I took my vitamin and got a big glass of milk. Guess I’ll start making sure I look for calcium rich foods and see if that helps with the achey old bones.
In the meantime, I’ll try to take better care of my bones and hope a glass of milk and vitamins and veggies will help. I do love plain yogurt, cheeses, almonds, broccoli and Swiss chard, which I have already been harvesting from the cold frames.
